A focused manufacturer,
not a trading company.
ORIGIN was founded in 2014 in Shenzhen, China, by three engineers who had spent the previous decade designing connectors for automotive tier-1s and factory automation OEMs. They saw the same problems repeat across projects: connectors specified for IP that were not actually IP-rated; vendors promising sealing that broke in the first salt-fog test; and lead times measured in quarters for what should have been catalog items.
We started ORIGIN to do one thing: build the connector that engineering teams actually need, in the format they actually want, in the time they actually have. Today, our APAC HQ in Shenzhen ships to 60+ countries worldwide.
We are vertically integrated. Tooling, machining, plating, overmolding, assembly, and test all happen in our Shenzhen facility. That is how we control the spec, the schedule, and the price.
